Exercise-Creating Images
60 mins
Combining objects
This is an exercise where the students find an object in their minds or even from the surrounding, then they draw it. They then use another object that they think of to combine with the initial object and come up with a new image with a different meaning. Below are a few examples:

Exercise - Image Manipulation
60 mins
Drawing from distortion.
Here a student looks at him/herself in a spoon and draws the distorted image of him/herself on a piece of drawing paper using watercolors. They could use the colors to lighten or darken themselves or even add other features like a beard e.t.c.

Presentation and discussion
Here everyone presents their works and we all discuss it in terms of composition, use of colour and shape and the relationship to the artists works we looked at.
Closing Talk The trainer asks the students what they have learnt and finds out if the exercises helped jolt their creative juices.
