| Warming up Meme |
A contagious idea that replicates like a virus, passed
on from mind to mind. Memes function the same way genes and viruses do,
propagating through communication networks and face-to-face contact between
people. __A good example is when standing waiting for a matatu and you hear someone whistling or singing a tune you know and like, next thing you are in the bus and you too are humming that song to yourself, later that day you hear someone else in your work humming it too, unknowingly you passed the meme to them! |
