  • Explain how tables, frames and layers work together (If you use tables and layers together the table should always be in a layer)
 
Warming up
15 mins
Ask any student to volunteer for a warm-up game. Any (This will help us know of some new warm-ups that can be used in the other groups)  
TIP
  • In the morning it will be theory and some exercises
  • In the afternoon my neighbourhood project continued (production of my neighbourhood )
  • Using the help in the program they can explore more about dream weaver
  • Give the students some urls and they need to do some more research about getting basic tutorials that they can read and learn by themselves during their free time.
  • Show some example of how different site have been produced e.g. Using CSS

  • The trainer is going to explain each areas step by step and student are required to ask questions and ask for more clarification if there is need be.
  • Students are required to make there own notes
  • Some handout will be provided.
  • Lesson is scheduled for 4 hours
  • Students are required to use our library books/CD's (Library activated)
  • Give this frame work to the students so that they can always go back and ask question on a specific area.

    NB: In the start of this lesson student needs to be remembered of the neighbourhood project which they need to produce.

Build a table width codes (note pad)

- Making tables, frames and layers:

Step 1: Students should make each of the mentioned elements and write in them what they are. E.g. make a table then write this is a table and so on.

Step 2: Make a table in a layer and write in the table, this is a table in a layerNB : This small exercise will help the student know how layers and table work together
