Meet David Mwangi, our alumni of the month. David is a NairoBits graduate from the year 2007.After graduating from the Bits program, David joined several companies in the eastern Africa region, offering his skills and expertise. It wasn’t long before he began training in content development, web design & development, a path that led him back to NairoBits as a trainer in January 2012.
David credits NairoBits for making him a self seeker, which helped fuel his passion in IT and pointed him in the right direction. He believes self sufficiency and going the extra mile is what gave him the skills to train NairoBits students for four and a half years.
Having come from a disadvantaged background himself, he understood the challenges the students faced and always urged to build up on what the trainers taught and to work harder than was expected of you.
David left NairoBits in May 2016 to pursue his other interests. He now runs a company called tumbili.co.ke, an online shop that sells kids toys among a few other projects.
